We are a local surveying company that has been in business for 30 years plus, in search of the perfect additions to complete our team. We are in need of an experienced and motivated individual who can produce accurate surveying field data quickly and efficiently.

LAND SURVEYING CREW CHIEF

FULL TIME POSITION/ PART TIME POSITIONS MAY ALSO BE AVAILABLE 

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Knowledge of operating data collectors, total stations, leveling equipment.
Knowledge of collecting data for projects such as closing/ mortgage surveys, Tree and Topographical Surveys, FFE Elevation Certificates, ALTA Surveys, Construction Stake-outs, etc.
Strong Math Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to perform physical tasks in a wide range of temperatures and work environments.
MUST BE ABLE TO BE ON TIME!
Ability to work more than 8 hour days sometimes (This is not a typical 9-5 job. We all work until the work is done)
Must be able to recognize your partners strengths and weaknesses as well as your own and use each person’s strengths and help each other with your weaknesses to create an efficient and effective field crew with high production. You must be able to keep team morale and productivity high!

PREREQUISITES:

Valid Driver’s License
Experience in Field Survey Work and Crew Chief is preferred but we are willing to give a Highly experienced instrument tech a chance at running a crew.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

FIELD CREW INSTRUMENT TECH

Ability to work more than 8 hour days sometimes (This is not a typical 9-5 job. We all work until the work is done)

COMPENSATION:

Based on Experience.
90-day probationary period.

(Crew chief’s pay will be revisited at the end of the trial and have the possibility of a raised pay in only 90 DAYS!)

Opportunities for pay raises based on productivity. Pay is revisited at the discretion of the owner.
